About Sophia

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, creative, and tenacious. I enjoy tutoring because I like helping others get a grasp of and understand a concept they've been struggling with. Not everyone is good at Math, English or even History, but it does not mean they can't understand it at their own pace and way. It's a matter of finding the best way to understand the concept of the subject that works for the individual. I like to help others find their way to learn and enjoy subjects that they struggle with. I started tutoring when I was 16, it was one of my first jobs where I tutored 4-7-year-olds. In my spare time, I like to read, do art, or volunteer at elementary schools.
