About Soraya

I am a graduate student, teacher, tutor, and caregiver. Prior to graduate school, I was a full-time lower elementary Montessori teacher and have over a decade of experience providing child care. As a teacher, tutor, or homework-helper, I love teaching all academic subjects and can differentiate instruction to meet your child's needs. As a nanny or babysitter, I love reading, writing, creating art and music, and being active outside. I understand the importance of being an observant, compassionate, and responsive caregiver. My experience as a teacher and nanny over the years has developed and strengthened a versatile childcare skill set that I have applied to a variety of home environments and age ranges. I also have experience caring for animals, I'm interested in petsitting, dog walking, and any other kind of care. I am available immediately for part-time positions. References available upon request.
