About Stefanie

I have always had an appreciation for the elderly and all of the wisdom and experience they have to offer. Years ago my grandmother suffered a stroke, the result of which was devastating to her health and our family. It became clear to us quickly that she needed someone to care for her through her hospice experience. I became her full time caregiver, living with her and helping her with basic care, as well was companionship and emotional support throughout the process. Through this experience with my grandmother, my appreciation grew to a compassionate love for this group of people. A recent graduate of naturopathic medicine, I'm currently doing my residency in integrative psychiatry. Prior to working in medicine, I was a social worker and yoga instructor. When I'm not busy reading or working, I enjoy nature, gardening, playing games and doing puzzles, and watching movies. I've lived and traveled around the country and world, and enjoy working with all types of people.
