About Stephanie

I was the primary caregiver for mom suffering with Alzheimer's. I took care of her every need. Medication management, shopping, meal prep, financial affairs, doctor appointments, bathing and dressing and creating daily fun activities and adventures to make her happy and engaged as much as possible. It was the most difficult time in my life for sure but even more difficult for her. I was so happy and proud to have been able to care for her even on the really hard days and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Then I became a caregiver for my friends father in the early stages of Alzheimer's and did the same for him as I did for my mom except I did not handle his financial affairs, his family did that. I thoroughly enjoyed taking care of him and realized how important this role is for so many families.
