Steff began her teaching career at the age of 13, where she was bussed from her middle school to her local high school to help teach in their child development center. It was there that she discovered her love of education, and received her 45 and 90 credit hours to be a lead preschool teacher by the time she graduated high school. She holds a Bachelors degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Maryland, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. She is certified to teach Elementary, Early Childhood, and Special Education (B-21), and also holds a Reading certification. She has taught in grades prek-5 as a general education teacher, resource teacher, and as a self-contained specialist. She was one of Nebraska's Teachers of the Year in 2010. Steff is amazing!! She is fun, upbeat and wonderful with kids of all ages. She knows how to build enriching activities and manage a variety of temperaments. Steff is so gifted with children and knows how to make the most of every situation.
