About Summer

I will be relocating to Colorado Springs in October of 2024, and I am looking for one or two families to nanny/nanny share near Florissant (willing to commute as far as Colorado Springs). Please reach out if you think this might be you! I have years of experience with children, starting with babysitting when I was 8 years old. I became a full time nanny in 2018. I specialize in infants and babies, ages birth-2. 5 years, but I love taking care of any age. I have a preference for nanny shares as well-I encourage socialization from a very early age. I bring Montessori fundamentals to an authoritative parenting style. It's really important that kids learn to self-validate and correct while still feeling supported and loved. I feel as though there should be a balance between being reasonably firm and setting healthy boundaries as well as taking on a uniquely emotional role of being a trusted adult that your children (and you!) can come to with a myriad of problems.
