About Sunshine

I am currently a student at East Stroudsburg University, and I will be graduating next year with a Secondary Education degree and a concentration in English. I have spent years babysitting and tutoring both inside and outside of the academic setting, across a variety of ages and levels. I currently work in the tutoring center at ESU where I tutor college students in the area of writing. I work with them one on one as they develop skills for success in their college career. Last year, I was a classroom- based tutor at an elementary school in Allentown. I worked with both small groups and individual students to ensure that nobody fell behind. I worked with these students in all of their core classes and stayed after school for those who needed further help. I love helping students learn. Tutoring can be tough sometimes, and it takes a lot of focus - but when a student makes progress or a new connection, it makes it all worth it.
