About Susan

In our fast paced world, it is my mission to make a child feel valued as an individual. I help to create an environment where a child feels they can achieve their goals and have the confidence to raise expectations of themselves. Realizing that learning can be an enjoyable process establishes a future with no boundaries! My name is Susan and I have 35 years of K-6 teaching experience. In 2000 and 2001, I was named one of "Who's Who of America's Teachers." In my previous school district, I was awarded 2005 "Teacher of the Year." I received my B. S. from Trenton State College, now known as The College of New Jersey, and my Master's from Marygrove College. I have 30 postgraduate credits in teaching coursework from the University of Phoenix. I have earned an AchieveNJ score of "Highly Effective." In 2018-19 I achieved the highest growth rate in ELA district-wide Link-It testing. I enjoy providing students with a learning environment focused on a multisensory approach.
