About Tiffany

I am a current certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA) working in a school based setting with children ages 5-10 who have varying degrees of special needs. Prior to my current job, I worked in a daycare for 7 years, caring for children ages 8 weeks to 12 years. I have experience working with children who have a wide range of diagnosis including but not limited to autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndromeI, ADHD, Juvenal rheumatoid arthritis and general behavioral issues. I additionally have experience working in a nursing home/rehabilitation center as a COTA, where I worked with patients with varying degrees of disabilities including post op surgery care, palliative care and dementia care. I have experience in assisting with ADL's (activities of daily living which include dressing, bathing, cooking, etc), transfers both with and without machines, and overall assistance with ambulation and daily tasks.
