My interest and love for the elderly is truly genuine and I really enjoy working with older adults. I take pride in renewing a seniors interest in living, helping them to exercise cognitive functioning, reinforcing socially acceptable patterns of behavior and most importantly improving the quality of life of my clients and their family members. I have 8yrs. of experience as a caregiver. In the past I have assisted clients by running errands grocery store, appointments, etc. Assist with cooking, cleaning, medication reminders/administration, monitoring mail and phones, and bill paying just to name a few. I have served meals to clients and fed those who are no longer able to feed themselves. I have experience with diabetes blood sugar testing as well as insulin. I have experience with using a Hoyer lift to transport clients. I have experience with wheel chairs, walkers, canes, bed pans, bedside commodes, and the list continues.
