About Talia

Hi everyone! My name is Talia, and I recently graduated from Howard University earning a B. S. in psychology with a minor in music! I am also a newly retired Division 1 lacrosse player. Most of my extracurricular activities involve working with children, such as coaching lacrosse and working with Grassroots Health, where I volunteer with other student athletes at various middle schools around D. C. and teach kids about nutritional, and mental health through fun sports games that make these important topics less awkward for them to learn! I am also an older sibling, and I have been babysitting my little brother as well as children around my neighborhood in Orlando, FL since I was in middle school. My family and friends would describe me as very thoughtful, outgoing, and social! My professors have also referred to me as a very diligent and inquisitive high-achieving student.
