I provide education and care based in Montessori practices meant to extend and excite the learning experience of each child. With a focus on social and emotional development, mindfulness and self esteem. I teach how our behavior impacts ourselves, our community and our world as a whole. My goal is to provide support and infrastructure to families in addition to helping children become well rounded, confident and thoughtful members of the community.

TaMara cared for our son when he was between 9 months to 2.5 years old, 2019-20. She was an incredible caretaker and became part of the family. We cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She is warm and nurturing. She stays calm in the most stressful situations and treated our child with love and respect. Beyond many other things, she taught our son baby sign language, how to sleep independently without tears, and how to interact gently and kindly with the other little girl that was in her care at the time. She is creative, energetic, and fun. She took cues from the environment (eg. construction nearby) to create impromptu lessons, introduced them to all kinds of interesting art projects, and always incorporated music and dancing in the day. She kept them well fed, diapered, and rested and our house always looked better at the end of the day than before. Most importantly my son was always so excited to see her and told her he loved her as soon as he knew how.
