With a degree in Early Childhood Education, numerous childcare certifications, and over 15 years of experience as a nanny and preschool teacher, I bring the classroom to your home. Each day, I engage your child in age-appropriate, fun activities, including songs, fingerplays, role-playing, arts and crafts, children's literature, and much more. I have all the necessary resources to create a rich learning environment. My current nanny assignment ended, so I am available to start immediately. I can provide excellent references from previous families who have valued my dedication, reliability, and the positive impact I've had on their children's lives. We have had the pleasure of employing Tara as a full-time nanny for our daughter for the last 3 years. In this time, Tara has been an exemplary teacher, 100% reliable, and has consistently exceeded our expectations. We hired Tara in September 2020 to provide full-time, in-home care for our then two, soon to be three year old daughter. She immediately bonded with my daughter, and ensured that she had a good sense of our routines, needs, and goals for childcare. As an early childhood educator, Tara created daily lesson plans to guide our daughter through early numeracy, literacy, and science. To support these lesson plans she would bring her own toys, books, crafts, and science experiments – to say that this was more than expected would be an understatement. We know that our daughter is in good hands with Tara and have full trust in her. Tara drives her to fun outings, including the library, music and movement classes, mini-golf, playground visits, and pool time. Over the last three years we have grown to love “Ms. Tara” and she has become like a member of our family.
