About Taylor

Philosophy: I believe in asking a child their opinion and speaking to them like the competent and honest people they are. I encourage children to make choices when they are equipped to do so and do tend to things that give them confidence and the understanding of serving others as well as themselves. Children are developing as people and need to figure out themselves in relation to their environment and all that is in it. I understand that when interpreting their words or actions and use those moments to teach about manners, cause and effect, or compassion. Method: When working with a child, it is so important for me to allow them to build trust at their pace. I never put down a child and I don't believe in harsh discipline. Communication continues to be a pertinent tool. I often speak softly or sing when a child is upset. I believe in teaching children life skills such as decision making, manners, time management, etc. *First aid and CPR certified & infant CPR and first aid
