Hello, my name is Telma, but I do go by my middle nickname, Lizy. I am 25 years old, currently in the Army reserves and a military spouse. I'm very active, attentive, organized and a quick learner. I have two fur babies, a GSD and a Goldie named Tiberius and Buttercup. I have two nieces, aged 14 and 13, who I helped raise since they were just newborns. I also now have 2 nephews, aged 3 yrs and the other 1 yr, who've definitely refreshed my experiences with newborns. I was able to learn hands-on and follow my two sister's strict set of instructions for each baby. I've been able to witness and learn how to manage the transition from a newborn to toddler to now teen, but still learn everyday, as every child is different! I'm also okay with occasional errands and duties (cleaning, cooking, school pick ups, homework and extracurricular activities). Lizy was literally heaven-sent to my family. I was so sad when she decided to move back to Texas, but thankful that we had her care for our son while she was local. My son is in in-home therapy 4x a week, and Lizy was the perfect partner in helping him build up his strength. When he wasn't in therapy, she was still doing the exercises with him. She is amazing with kids, especially babies. My son took to her right away and smiled when he saw her. She is patient and detailed when it comes to handling his day-to-day items. Lizy anticipates my needs and sets me up for success when she leaves for the day. All of his dishes are clean, she leaves me out a bib, vacuums his room, and just overall makes life so much easier for our family. Our son has a busy schedule with therapy and doctor's appointments, so her help and care have been the best I have seen. You are extremely lucky to have Lizy support your family.
