I have been a caregiver/companion for my mother in law and one other elderly person in the last five years. I understand the needs change in the elderly almost like the needs of children change rapidly. I enjoy being able to assist people of any age and make all feel important and not forgotten or burdensome. I understand the sadness that sometimes accompanies the aging community and I look for ways to keep people "connected" and involved. I am also available for childcare. I have 2 grown children in Wilmington, NC and truly miss the days of being a daily necessity to my girls. I miss the homework AND the crafting! All of it. Pet care is also dear to me. I have 3 indoor pets and 2 former ferals that I care for. I hope that I can make a difference in the lives of those that look to meet me.
