About Thandiwe

Hi I'm Thandi and I've been babysitting for over 10 years but 3 years paid experience. I'm the youngest sibling of 7 children and I've been caring for my siblings' kids since I was 12 years old. I'm currently working with kids who are on the spectrum and I've learnt more about special needs and I'm able to cater accordingly. I have a teaching certificate I can help with early childhood development and speech or school age kids. I'm a social worker by profession and I have empathy and good principles. I'm flexible, easily adapt and listen to instructions. I'm a good communicator and willing to compromise. I'm caring, loving, kind energetic and friendly. Some of the duties I do with kids includes: Driving kids to school and activities. Preparing meals and cleaning up afterwards. Making school lunches. Preparing breakfast and dinner. Helping with homework and tutoring and playing with them. Help with bath time. Doing kids' laundry. Keeping the kids' room tidy and organized. Dressing kids.
