About Theresa

I am a college graduate with a B. S. in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. I am also certified in Applied Behavior Analysis and currently work with special needs children in the Newton Public School system. I have also been lucky enough to work as a nanny for a great family for over 10 years. After college, I spent a few years working in the field of Psychology, and while it was a great learning experience, it wasn't what I loved doing, so I decided for a career change and became a nanny. After a few years I realized I wanted to combine the two fields and got certified in ABA and began working with children with a variety of special needs while continuing to Nanny part time. I am energetic and fun, and I enjoy planning a variety of activities. I believe that due to my education and background I would be a valuable asset to any family. I am also extremely patient and reliable. Most importantly, I am responsible and able to work with a variety of children.
