About Tyra

I have 15 years of experience caring for children (0-12 y/o). I started babysitting infants + babies at 12 years old and continued throughout high school at the Bryn Mawr School for Girls in Baltimore, where I began babysitting toddlers at our lower school. I have extensive experience tutoring in English, Math and Spanish 1. I am also CPR certified and have some special needs training under my mother, who is a special needs educator. As an active person and former athlete, I am happy to help out with extracurricular and recreational activities. I love to cook and clean (believe it or not) and would be more than willing to help out with those tasks at home. I do not own a personal car, as I live in the city; however, I am a safe licensed driver with my commercial driver's license (CDL) and will drive when necessary. I genuinely love children and believe it takes a village to raise them and ensure all of their needs are met! I would love to offer my services to a family in need.
