About Valerie

Hello! My name is Valerie and I have over 16 years of childcare experience. I have worked as a toddler gymnastics teacher, a camp counselor and director, a nanny to school aged children, a preschool teacher, a special needs infant nanny, and currently- an infant lead in a childcare setting with 12 babies aged 6 weeks - 16 months. I know and implement baby sign language to help encourage children in their language development. I am CPR and first aid certified. I'd describe my personality as happy, patient, and friendly. I like working with kids because watching them grow and learn new things is amazing! I like to help parents feel safe knowing I'm caring for their child exactly the way they need. I'm looking for a job that has a mostly normal schedule. I started working with kids when I was a teenager, babysitting. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my kids, crochet, and anything crafty.
