About Valerie

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, outgoing, and responsable. I like working with kids because of their imagination & creativity! I feel that working with them helps to see things from a different prospective and I love to help them explore their creative side. I'm looking for a job that is flexible. I do currently have a job outside of caretaking, so I would love to work for a family that is willing to work with my schedule! I started working with kids when I was 9 or 10 years old, my mom was a babysitter and would always bring me along with her! I got my own babysitting job at 13yrs old and have worked with pets & kids ever since! In my spare time, I like to read, go to the beach, and spend as much time with my loved ones as possible. One thing you should know about me is I'm a fast learner! If there's a task i'm unsure how to complete, all I request is a quick explanation and I'll be all set! My skills include meal prep, cleaning, and creating fun arts&crafts projects!
