About Valerie

My previous experience as a Summer Program Leader at Think Together involved supervising and instructing over 100 students in grades K-6, developing effective classroom management strategies, and fostering a positive learning environment. Additionally, my role as a tutor with Emory Reads allowed me to design and implement tailored curricula for elementary students, focusing on their academic growth and development. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to create engaging and educational activities that cater to the needs and interests of young children. I am a very strong student, having achieved a 4. 3 GPA in high school and maintaining a 3. 5 GPA in college. This academic excellence demonstrates my dedication to learning and my ability to help others achieve their educational goals. My approach to tutoring is caring, soft, warm, attentive, and creative, making sure that your child is safe and engaged in fun and educational activities.
