Hello! My name is Valerie. I am very enthusiastic, adventurous, patient and nurturing. I am currently work part time with 2 families during the week as a nanny. I first started babysitting when I was in high school for families around the neighborhood. I'm originally from the Midwest and moved here about 8 years ago. I've had the pleasure of working with several family in the Fort Lauderdale area as either a full time nanny or a date night sitter. I love exploring different parks or activities in the area and consider myself very active with kids. I love taking little ones to the beach, swimming or checking out museums! I have experience with all ages! I've done potty training, teaching to tie shoes and bike riding. I love getting to watch and teach your little ones. I'm looking for a fun and outgoing family who is looking for help in the evenings or weekends for things like date night.

Valerie was absolutely wonderful with my 13 month old son who is walking, running, and unfortunately very fussy because he's teething (his molars are coming in). She was a champ! She soothed him, took him for walks and kept him entertained. Not to mention, being able to keep up with him ! She has an abundance of energy and is very sweet. I'm so glad I picked her!!! She was quick to reply and her references had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. I needed her help for 3 full days (8am-4pm). I have never had to hire a babysitter since I have family but everyone was gone on vacation and I had to work. I did not have to worry at all. Valerie was fantastic, not to mention, on time, patient and very responsible. I would hire her again (in fact, I already have for another day coming up soon)! I highly recommend her.
