About Vanessa

Hello, my name is vanessa and I have a diverse knowledge in child development. I have 3 years experience as a nanny for children between the ages of 2 months and 4. prior to this, I was a behavioral therapist working with children on the spectrum between the ages of 2 and 14. I have classroom experience as a teachers aid at block and dreeben school for young children. I worked in the 5-year-olds and the 3-year-Olds classroom. I have worked with babies as young as 2 months. My background has granted me experience in understanding and handling behaviors, verbal and nonverbal communication, cognitive development, creating lesson plans, creating age appropriate learning activities, and working with occupational and speech therapists. I am bilingual and am comfortable with cooking, light housework, pets, and driving kids around.
