We hired Vanessa, she agreed to start work as soon as possible, and as a result, we stopped interviewing others for the position. It's now 10 days later, and when Vanessa was supposed to come in for training and to start her position, she has stopped returning phone calls and texts. Now, we are scrambling to hire someone else in a very short period of time and Vanessa's disappearance has created unnecessary stress for all of us involved in arranging care for my father.
