About Wendy

Hello! My name is Wendy, a little about me is that I am a first year SLP student. I am a very dedicated and passionate person when it comes to my studies and my goals. I would say I truly enjoy taking care of children since a young age and have always found that I find loads of joy when being able to be apart of a child's day and hearing how there day was at school. I am very family oriented and have always been babysitting children from 1 yr. up to 13yr. old, being apart of after school activities, drop offs and pick ups. I am also a pet lover, owner of two small pups and a large dog understanding the care and responsibility. I have been a student assistant for a professor at my university for about 3 years now and have built experience in teaching. I have also been a TA for LAUSD in an elementary school where I tutored and supervised all grade levels. Overall, I am a very goal oriented individual, hoping to use my degree to bright up peoples day.
