Hello mommies, daddies, and caregivers! I'm Frannie, a 33-year-old bilingual, 4th grade teacher. I've been a teacher for 7 years now with experience from grades 2 to 4. Prior to teaching, I nannied and tutored. I have tutored for both language arts and mathematics. The children I have tutored have ranged from kindergarten through 5th grade. I like to use a mix of hands-on and "old-school" methods to best support a child's needs. I will sometimes use worksheets. I might use sensory or tactile activities, and sometimes electronic devices may be a useful resource. It really depends on the needs of the child who I am working with. I try to best to make learning as engaging as possible for the child.

In order for tutoring/education to be effective, she truly believes it is necessary to develop a relationship with her students. Also, she is willing to use a mixture of traditional and new teaching methods to reach a child.
