About Yatta

My name is Yatta. I am a grad student and musician living in Altadena. I have 7 years experience nannying and teaching children ages 6mo to 12 yrs. My last nannying job before Covid was for two children- one 5 and the other 9. Previous to that, I looked after a 1-year-old and 3-year-old. Both jobs were long term. I am moved by the way our lives intertwined over time. I still keep up with now. I have references that I would be happy to share with you. For three years, I taught for a music non-profit called Sonic Arts for All. I guided kids through music technology to make original compositions. Now, I teach individual lessons and group workshops online. I have also tutored writing/English and beginners Chinese for students from age 7 to adults. Before Covid, my life was teaching/nannying kids and performing. Now that I am vaccinated, I'm really excited to get back to both.
