No other tour takes guests out into the streets to showcase and highlight the vibrant street art scene, which many people overlook on a daily basis. As we walk along the Union Pacific viaduct, you’ll learn the history of this 50-year-old project and watch it evolve from a community-based mural program to an international attraction featuring artists from all over the world. You’ll deepen your understanding of the elements of street art by exploring the eclectic work of hundreds of artists and volunteers. By the end of masterclass you will create a beautiful piece of art that you will be proud to display or give as a gift. It will remind you of wonderful time on Maui forever. In the program, we will study all the features of working with epoxy resin and paints. Let's talk about composition, analyze the color combinations and pick up your favorite ranges together, master the techniques, techniques and effects of epoxy painting. Everyone will take their unique work with them (after drying 24 hours) all materials are provided. Good mood and festive atmosphere are guaranteed! We use only use non-toxic epoxy (when used as directed) that is not bad for your health like other resins. No VOCs. No fumes. No solvents. Non-flammable. Non-hazardous. Conforms to ASTM D4236 (Safe for Home Use when used in a well ventilated area). The workshop lasts for about 1 and half hour.

All our interactive museum tours are inspired by stories, and we’re pleased to present our newest tour, a story…about stories themselves. “The Art of Stories” looks at tales of the Met, backstories of the works of art, narratives set in the museum, and the origin of stories themselves, seen through the perspective of works of art. From myths to fairy tales, fables to epic quests, the tour will transport participants to a cave full of treasure and heroes on daring quests, a sword in a stone and a girl who loses her shoe. We’ll see how stories can take us to other worlds, shift our viewpoint of the world we’re in….and sometimes literally save someone’s life. Recommended for ages 12 and up
