Funky Divas & Dudes is an established after-school enrichment program offering high-energy dance, cheerleading, and now musical theater productions for elementary schools throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, and Portland. Our musical theater program gives students the opportunity to learn from experienced performing arts professionals while working together to produce a polished, stage-ready production they can feel proud of. Throughout the rehearsal process, students build skills in singing, acting, choreography, and character development, while also gaining confidence, strengthening public speaking abilities, and learning the fundamentals of stage performance. When the moon is full, fairies gather to dance and bask in her light! Join us for a day of crafts, puppets, play pretend, and fun! Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 2:30 - 3:00pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. On our final day, join us at 3pm for a special show! If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. This bag will be filled with enchanted projects, art materials, audio and video links and anything your kiddo might be missing in class. SPEECH & LANGUAGE GROUP Led by Kristyn Sequeira — M.S. CCC-SLP | 12+ Years of Experience This interactive speech and language group is designed to support children who need a boost in understanding and using spoken language. Through fun, purposeful activities, children work on expanding vocabulary, forming longer sentences, retelling stories, sequencing events, following multi-step directions, and engaging in meaningful conversations. Each session is tailored to your child’s individual language goals and includes: - Play-based activities that make learning language fun - Evidence-based strategies to improve comprehension and expression - Support for social interaction, turn-taking, and functional communication This group builds foundational skills that support success at school, at home, and in everyday life. If your child could benefit from extra support in expressive and receptive language, this is a wonderful opportunity to grow in a nurturing, supportive setting. 👉 First-time families may try one introductory class at a discounted rate ($25)! *For the greatest therapeutic benefit, it is highly encouraged that families register for at least 4 consecutive sessions. *Mid-session registration: If you are signing up AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF THIS SERIES OF 9 CLASSES, email info@marvegos.com about a possible project conflict before you arrive for class.* Our school year curriculum for age 12 and up emphasizes personal responsibility and self-directed art-making under the guidance of the instructor. Individual goals are established and records of progress kept. A sketchbook is required for this class. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience. Students new to ADEX are required to complete 3-4 prerequisite projects that introduce new mediums and the fundamentals of composition, color, and form. These projects also serve to familiarize students with the studio’s layout, proper setup and cleanup procedures, as well as essential steps in project planning. These prerequisites are completed at the students’ pace and typically take at least one session to complete.
