At Singing Sensations Camp, we blend the magic of music with the fun of visual art. Campers will explore their favorite musicians, musicals, and kids’ movies, turning iconic songs and characters into vibrant works of art. Each day, campers dive into hands-on projects inspired by the sounds they love. Painting expressive portraits of favorite singers, designing posters for beloved musicals, creating art from popular kids’ movies, and crafting colorful music-themed masterpieces. Whether it’s Broadway show tunes, pop stars, or animated movie soundtracks, every project celebrates creativity and self-expression. Looking for a boost of Broadway in your Summer? Step into the spotlight and experience the excitement of Broadway in this high-energy 3-day intensive designed for students in grades 7–12! This bootcamp is perfect for performers of all levels who are eager to grow their skills in singing, dancing, and acting, challenging themselves while building confidence and stage presence. Students will train in a supportive, fast-paced environment as they learn and perform iconic Broadway numbers in small and large group numbers. Throughout the three days, students will be encouraged to use their creative instincts, make bold choices, and collaborate with one another in a fun and engaging setting. The experience culminates in an informal showcase where students can share what they’ve learned. Due to the length of this course, students will be expected to spend dedicated time outside of class memorizing materials and practicing their choreography over the course of the 3 days. Music for the course may be released a few days prior to the class beginning for students to begin learning. Whether you're new to the stage or looking to grow your skills, this Broadway Bootcamp is a fun and inspiring way to express yourself, build confidence, and create something exciting together! When: August 6th-7th (12pm-4pm), August 8th (9am-12pm) We will conclude our time with a brief performance beginning at 12pm on August 8th. We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

This class will teach the student who is at the beginning of their musical journey how to read notes on a staff, how to understand musical terms in a piece of music, and how to understand and follow various parts in a choral piece. We will explore vocal ranges, matching pitch with a group, sight reading simple tunes, and following a choral part. This class is highly recommended for anyone interested in singing in the upper level choirs, especially for those with no other musical background.

This fun and energetic combo class introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of both jazz and tap dance in a supportive and engaging environment. Students will build coordination, rhythm, flexibility, balance, and musicality while learning beginner jazz technique and foundational tap skills. Class will include warm-ups, across-the-floor exercises, basic combinations, and age-appropriate choreography designed to keep dancers moving and learning. Through both styles, dancers will develop confidence, classroom discipline, listening skills, and performance quality while exploring movement and self-expression. Jazz encourages strong technique, sharp movement, and stage presence, while tap focuses on rhythm, timing, and sound awareness. This class provides a strong foundation for future dance training and performance opportunities. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and have fun! Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Critique & Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from the instructor and peers in a supportive and open environment to enhance their artistic process and growth. Who This Class Is For: Both new and continuing students. Teens ages 12-17 who are eager to create art more independently but want guidance, structure, and inspiration from a teacher. Calling all aspiring performers! Come actively explore your dramatic side as you sing, dance, and act in a variety of musical theater songs, theater games, and other creative activities. Be ready to sing, move, imagine, create…and have fun!

Music Makers get to experience making music together through singing rounds and folk songs, as well as expressing themselves through movement. They will continue developing a foundation in music concepts-such as note reading, dynamics, tempo, steady beats, reading rhythms, etc.-through singing and playing classroom instruments. Students will perform at TCHA’s Choir Concert at the end of the semester (Tuesday, December 1st at 7pm).

Satisfy your curiosity, and experience a fun and thorough introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel. Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Your instructor guides you through the process of throwing, shaping and trimming pots on the wheel. Special handbuilding project can possibly be included. Basic surface decoration and glazing techniques are also demonstrated. This class is designed for students any level experience on the potter’s wheel. Those who have more experience will complete more pieces/ advanced techniques. Those learning will master the basic skills to create wheel thrown pieces. Register for all classes, as we will build on experience of the students. During our last class, we will meet the last 10-15 minutes of class for an Art Show Presentation. These outdoor sessions are a sunshine-filled medley of classic Gymboree fun, with movement-based activities, sensory play, music, bubbles and sports, designed to keep your little ones active, engaged, and smiling all summer long! Come to Jonathan Rogers Park (just a couple blocks from our centre!) on Fridays for sensory & movement play & Saturdays for sports-based classes.

Now that your child has increased his or her language skills, experienced high/low, has marched to the steady beat, and has the rhythm all inside, let's apply those concepts directly to the piano! We will learn the scale, listen to famous composers and famous piano pieces, make music with sound stories, learn musical terms, strengthen our fingers, work on proper posture and hand position, learn quarter notes and half notes, and letters C,D,E all before private music lessons begin! Melody Makers is a solid foundation for piano or private music instruction! Plus, everything is better with new friends! Classes are 1 hour long each week.
