Join us on campus at St John's Episcopal School for the Winter Session 8-Week Series. This is your student's chance for some hands-on cooking FUN! Lil’ Chef School teaches children the joy of cooking in a kid-friendly and safe environment. Budding chefs learn the basics of cooking while participating in the preparation of real recipes they get to taste at the end of each class. Students learn how to use a safety knife, kitchen safety, properly measure wet & dry ingredients, as well as etiquette, math, and science!

Don't worry about a sitter! Give yourself a parents' night off and send your child to our Kids' Night Out! Pizza party dinner will be included, as well as multiple arts and crafts, and a big, instructor-led project! $40 for the first child and $35 for additional siblings. Each child will go home with a full bag of art that they create.

Teachers also read children's books that explore and nurture key social and emotional skills, engage in activities that require cooperation and self-awareness while encouraging communication with peers. This independent class requires that the child is fully potty trained.

This class is for families with children getting ready for preschool, looking for socialization and a longer more structured class. During this class we will come together for morning circle, creative activity, free play and neighborhood exploration. The morning will end with a closing circle.

Drone Explorers: STEM Missions is an exciting indoor program for students in grades 4–8. Kids will learn to fly and code real drones while solving hands-on, real-world challenges. Each session blends science, technology, and teamwork in a fun and engaging way. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and creativity. All equipment is provided, and classes are held safely indoors.

Blast off with us on an out-of-this-world adventure! Our young astronauts will embark on a cosmic journey as we orbit through the solar system. Through songs, dramatic play, and hands-on art projects, students will explore the wonders of outer space, learning about the sun’s role in giving us light, the celestial bodies that make up our solar system, and the amazing nature of space itself. This fun and interactive experience will inspire curiosity and creativity, making science come to life as we reach for the stars!.

Where Art meets STEM, amazing things happen! That's STEAM! In this camp, creativity abounds as students discover the fascinating ways Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math overlap. Get hands-on exploring chemical color chromatography, creating your own paints using chemistry, engineering intricate geometric sculptures, and finding hidden math in origami. Become a "STEAMful artist" and see how blending these skills unlocks new ways to create and innovate – as far as your imagination can take you!

Dive deep into the ocean's dinner menu! Who eats whom beneath the waves? In this camp, young marine biologists will explore the fascinating Ocean Food Web. From tiny plankton, the base of it all, to krill, fish, seals, and mighty sharks, we'll uncover the predator-prey relationships that connect ocean life. Students will investigate different marine habitats, learn about amazing sea creatures, and discover how energy flows through the underwater ecosystem. Get ready to untangle the web of life in the big blue!

Sign up for each week- we have a new curriculum each week! Kids will enjoy 4 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Day Camp is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

In this exciting engineering course, students will explore the world of simple and complex machines through hands-on engineering challenges. From building pulley-powered lifts and spinning windmills to constructing hydraulic bridges and simple motors, young engineers will discover how force, energy and motion work together to make amazing things move. Each week brings a new mission that tests creativity, problem-solving and teamwork. By the end of the course, students will put their skills to the ultimate test, by designing their own Mega Machine that combines everything they’ve learned! ***This course is ONLY for Grades 3-5*** The Kids Obstacle Course and Fitness Training combine calisthenics, dynamic movements, gymnastics, and body weight strength training to help physical development in children. Each class will have 4 parts: a warm-up, a relay race, a strength training workout, and an obstacle course. The strength elements are crucial for optimized bone and muscle growth, while the gymnastics and dynamic elements train the children's vestibular system, improving their balance and coordination. Our coaches are trained to adjust the workouts based on the children's needs, so the class is suitable for all levels of physical development. Creator's Camp inspires campers to connect with their creativity while developing their skills in storytelling, art, music, and hands-on projects. Guided by award-winning Lando educators, campers will explore painting, drawing, and arts and crafts—engaging their hands, heads, and hearts while building lasting friendships. Weekly Schedule Each week combines traditional camp activities with specialized Lando classes. Campers attend two Lando sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (each class offered twice weekly), with Wednesdays reserved for exciting field trips. Field Trips: - Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Campers will experience Four Award-Winning Lando Classes: Summer LEGO® Robotics Lab – Build a new robot daily using LEGO® bricks, motors, and sensors.
