About Adina

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Massachusetts currently in my junior year completing a double major in math with a statistics concentration and psychology. I have never officially tutored for pay before, but I often offer help to fellow students who find me very helpful. Math has always been a strong subject for me since I was in elementary school, and while I am completing my Bachelor's degree and considering a future career in teaching, I figured it would be great to start getting some experience before I graduate. I am extremely friendly, non judgmental and patient, I really enjoy working with children, and I am always excited to help out anyone who needs it! I not only have experience helping people out with math, but various other things as well which add to my teaching experiences. When I worked at Dunkin' Donuts and at Friendly's Restaurant, I occasionally trained new workers who really enjoyed working with me and who learned their job very quickly. On the ballroom team I help out at our social dance lesson and I teach moves and technique to less experienced team members. I also have taught people how to solve a Rubik's cube and make friendship bracelets.
