About Amanda

I have over 10 years childcare experience and 2 years in an AMI accredited Montessori school environment. Additionally I am a mom to 2 boys - 8 years old and 5 months old. I am currently in training to become an 0-3 certified Montessori Guide through the Montessori Training Center Northeast in Connecticut, on track to graduate Summer 2025. I recently had a baby in January and am looking for a more flexible working schedule in which I can still practice what I am learning through training. Ideally I would like to bring my son, with me. Of course, he would adjust to the routine your child is accustomed to so there would be minimal disruption for your child. Throughout the daily routine I am a big believer in supporting independence wherever possible. I also focus on following the child concerning their interests and always aim to support the child, or as the child might say Help me to help myself.
