About Amelia

I love to assist others in learning. When I was in elementary school, tutors helped me discover the tools that best helped me to stay on task, be patient with myself, and have the resilience to never give up- especially in a subject I found particularly difficult. Since then, I have helped many students with homework in high school, and worked as a professors aid for two years in college. This position included helping struggling students understand difficult subjects and build strategies for their own learning. I enjoy spending time with children, and would be excited to help a young student with their schoolwork. In college, I majored in a STEM field, and enjoy writing and reading almost everyday.
