Hello! Over the past 1. 5 years, I have been helping a lovely bed bound senior in palliative care. My duties included meds management, PEG tube feeding, bed baths and changes, bed/chair transfers, companionship. Make sure to find my reviews under "senior care" tab. I have 7 years of experience, including overnights, clients with dementia, poor balance. I assisted a gentleman in his late 80's, an Auschwitz survivor with a missing lung, hip bone and muscle. I took care of his housekeeping, errands, shopping, laundry, ironing, and cooking. Most importantly, I was his companion; he loved playing board games and telling stories from his life. Listening to him was easy, as he lived enough for two people and was very interesting. He did require patience though. Understandably, his war experiences changed him into a hard person. He left a lasting impression on me though, and not a week goes by without me thinking about one of his stories. Please reach out if you think I can help. Thank you!
