About Chelsea

I am a professional nanny with 20 years experience as a nanny and an infant/preschool teacher. I am now a new mom and am looking for a position that I can bring my 15-month-old along and for a family that is excited by the socialization this will bring to the care. I studied early childhood education in college and in continuing education. I have a B. A. in Psychology & Social Behavior. I have also worked as a behavioral, play, and yoga therapist with children with language delays, developmental delays, children with autism, medical needs and more. I love to engage children in new experiences and be present for and help facilitate their emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development. Each child is unique and I will meet them where they are at and encourage emergent curriculum.
