About Francene

My name is Ms. Francene and I have been a NYC teacher for the last 17 years. I love teaching the little ones and have spent most of my tenure in grades K through 2. I have also been tutoring for the past 3 years with students all the way up to 5th grade. I have taught all subjects but I specialize in teaching Reading. As a Reading Coach, I truly learned how to not only help students become better readers but also how to cultivate a love of reading and learning in general. I believe that everyone can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way. Also I think that one on one tutoring is the key to helping students bridge any learning gaps they may have.
