About Gia

Hello, my name is Gia I grew up in a highly family-oriented household and always had an authentic and genuine connection with my grandmothers. As they grew older I found myself caring for them and enjoying my time spent with such lovely women, hearing their life stories and experiences while I helped them in their daily life activities whether it was going to the restroom or wanting to go grocery shopping themselves, I am happy to help them live fully to themselves however I could. When I started college I pursued a degree in psychology knowing I wanted to help people and decided to further my degree with Clinical Mental Health counseling. Through my time in school and reflecting on populations to help I recalled my grandmothers, I knew I wanted to help care for seniors. Other than this I have experience working with seniors at JCMC and have learned some new ways to care for this population. I am an open book and look forward to caring for you!
