About Jodi

I am a kind, loving, experienced childcare-giver, seeking an after-school/part-time position. I've worked with kids ages 2 -14, providing excellent care I gear toward specific ages, personalities, likes, dislikes, strengths, and works in progress. I am sensitive to children's feelings/needs, and I enjoy finding out what they love to do, and keeping them engaged in a happy, safe environment. With a BA in English (UW-Madison), I'm a great resource for spelling, grammar, reading, and writing, helping teens with essays, and reading with/to kids. My passion is to sing, and I love to teach children songs, sometimes a little dance, which they love to sing and perform! I also play the piano. I am Pediatric First Aid/CPR-Certified, and a responsible driver. I pick up children from school, drive to and from activities, prepare healthy snacks, play games, and supervise/assist with homework/piano practice. I would love to share my references with you.
