I am a recent graduate from UVM in anthropology and I just accepted an AmeriCorps position at a local elementary/middle school to help coordinate the garden/food program. I am defined by my curiosity across disciplines and my drive to independently learn new things every day. More specifically I would describe myself as an avid reader, an artist, and an environmentalist. I have experience starting in high school babysitting children as young as 2 and I have experience tutoring at a middle school and high school level through a NHS initiative in my high school. More recently I spent the summer as a substitute at a preschool, working with children ages 0-5.
