About Katie

I am a UVM Honors student and experienced caregiver looking for welcoming families in the Burlington area. I worked with many families in my six years of caregiving and I am described as adaptable to family's individual needs and lifestyle. I am creative- I love designing crafts and finding new art/building activities. As a lifelong athlete, I am also very active and love games- you name it and I have played it: soccer, basketball, lacrosse, tennis, softball, even rowing crew at UVM! I am committed to engaging, educational activities that keep kids off the couch and learning something new. Most of all, I love to make your little ones laugh. I am described as a warm, competent, and playful caregiver. Finally, I am cognizant of caregiving within parent's comfort levels and boundaries. Due to COVID-19, if your child would benefit from supplemental learning, I can incorporate structured learning into their routine. I am a UVM tutor and an incoming Teach For America corps member.
