About Madelyn

Upon graduating with my degree in social work and human development, I spent two years working in youth residential treatment homes in Vermont. Since moving to New Jersey, I have continued my work with youth residing in out of home care. I have significant experience working with youth in crisis, displaying behavioral challenges, and requiring special need care accommodations. The majority of my experience is with youth between the ages of 6 and 16. However, previous to my transition to working in residential programs and group homes, I spent the majority of my teenage years babysitting and assisting in local day care centers. I am well equipped to handle the difficult moments and have excellent time management skills. I am very outgoing and enjoy working with children. I am CPR and first aid trained through work trainings. These trainings are ongoing and recertification occurs every few months.
