Hi, I am currently working as a substitute teacher as I earn my teaching credential and master's degree from Santa Clara University. I am looking for a part-time weekly tutoring position to pair with my schooling. I began doing tutoring, mentorship, and a variety of educational outreach events while I earned my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon. However, my outreach efforts in 2019 with my previous employer, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) convinced me that I wanted to work in STEM education. I really enjoy teaching mathematics to children and seeing the moment where the concepts click into place! Beyond textbook learning, I like to inspire my students by showing them how awesome and full of wonder math and other STEM field really are with interactive lessons. I would love the opportunity to do some weekly math tutoring and make a difference in your child's life.
