Tonya is a very experienced caregiver who immediately knew what to do to take care of my elderly father who returned from a hospital/rehab stay of 2.5 months due to a fall. She knew how to handle his diabetes with insulin and blood sugar monitoring and the proper diet. She also ensured he took all his medicines. My father needed a lot of help with transfers and hygiene, and she handled these really well with care, kindness and diligence. She is a good cook. Very importantly, she is a strong communicator, texting family who are not in the house to ensure my father got the best care. Sadly my dad was re-hospitalized and we didn't need Tonya. So I hope with this review, you'll hire her. Though I also plan to re-hire her once my dad is out of the hospital.
