About Virginia

I'd describe my personality as positive, compassionate, creative. I like working with kids because I like seeing the world through their eyes and keeping them safe while they explore it. I'm looking for a job that can help me make a difference in a child/senior's life by providing respect, empathy, and a safe, caring environment. I started working with kids when I had my own 3 daughters! I've also taught art education for Pinellas County Schools and continue to give private art lessons to adults. In my spare time, I like to create fiber art. I weave, hook rugs, crochet, punch needle - you name it! I'm a textile designer by trade and I believe in the power that art has. One thing you should know about me is I believe in listening and understanding who your child is in order to facilitate better communication with them. My skills include experience as a mother, creativity, and responsibility.
