Class is taught using the program Procreate for Apple iPad, which is strongly recommended. Other programs may suffice, but we cannot promise a 1:1 comparison of lessons for any other programs used. Experience in procreate preferred but not required. The Kids' Digital Animation class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 8-11, introducing young artists to the basics of animation using iPads and Procreate Dreams. Acrylic Landscapes: It may be cold and grey outside, but we can always find an escape through art! This project invites students to travel the world as they explore acrylic landscapes of their dream vacation destination. This weekly 2-hour class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. Students can choose to come on Tuesdays, or Thursdays, or both! Whatever works best for your schedule. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go. Projects often run for 3-4 weeks to give students the extra time to create a really impressive piece. Recommended for ages 10-16.
