In STEM in the Kitchen, students blend creativity, science, and culinary skills as they explore how ingredients come together to create delicious results. Each session features a fun, age-appropriate recipe that reinforces basic STEM concepts like measuring, temperature, and chemical changes—all through low-flame or no-flame cooking that’s safe and classroom-friendly. We provide all ingredients, including fresh items, and all necessary cooking equipment. Only the instructor will operate the induction stove and oven. Recipes will not include common food allergens.

We are thrilled to offer nurturing and nourishing culinary art and exploration programs to the Little School Chefs! This time we will bring the adventure to you! Cook, color, craft and create with our 'Roots to Fruits' enrichment program right from the comfort of The Little School Campus! Students will join us when their school day finishes for a seamless transition into Culinary Artistas explorations! Join us on the first Wednesday of every month from October-June for a special day of cooking, playing, creating, and tasting! We will explore the power of our two hands with delicious, colorful recipes, inspired by the best seasonal produce, sparking children's curiosity. Kid-chefs will get to craft their own hearty, homemade after school snacks, explore STEAM activity centers, spend time outdoors, create fun food-inspired art projects and much more! General Schedule: 12:30 pm- 3 year olds arrive- Story Time + Activity Centers I + Optional Nap or Cozy Time 1:30 pm 4 year olds arrive - Circle Time + Stretching + Activity Centers I 2:00 pm 5 year olds arrive - Cooking Activity I + Snack 3:00 pm - STEAM Project 3:30 pm - Cooking Activity II + Snack 4:30 pm - Activity Centers II + Outdoor Play 5:30 pm - Closing Circle and Pick-Up Technical Stuff: This will be a mixed aged program. The standard class package pricing for this program is for the 5 year olds for 3 hours. However, we plan to open the doors at 12:30pm to begin to welcome out youngest friends as they finish up their school day, and will receive the next groups at 1:30pm and 2:00pm. If your child is 3 or 4 and will be joining us at 12:30pm or 1:30pm respectively, be sure to add on the correct option for pre-care to your booking. If your child is 5 and finishing school at 2:00 pm, you can sign up for the regular program with no pre-care selection.

Kitchen Scientists combines hands-on experiments with fun cooking challenges, giving campers the chance to explore chemistry, microbiology, and biochemistry through tasty creations. From observing crystals to testing enzymes, making butter, and even creating ice cream, campers see science in action while preparing real food. Whether they love cooking, experimenting, or discovering how everyday ingredients work, campers will gain confidence applying scientific concepts in the kitchen and end the week with a friendly cook-off. Kitchen Scientists is the perfect camp for curious kids who love to explore how science comes alive in the kitchen. Throughout this week-long, hands-on camp, young chefs become real scientists as they investigate chemical reactions, experiment with microbes and enzymes, and test their super-taster senses. Each day features a unique science theme, hands-on experiments, and delicious cooking challenges. Our Baking Workshops are back! Bake with us and whip up some fun in our cool kitchens. Lil’ Chefs will learn how to measure wet and dry ingredients properly, the importance of exact measurements, and how to follow a recipe. We will work together in small groups to complete each part of the recipe, and each Lil’ Chef will create and decorate their own to take home.
